CREATIVE Sound Card Drivers for CT5803 2

Hi ALL,

I have recently installed Windows 2003 Server and now having difficulties finding the drivers for the Sound card.

I searched on Google and many results were given but i could not download the file from any websites including manufacturer's, CREATIVE.

I have tried

which asks for free registration which i did but still no joy.

Here are the Details:

Manufacturer: CREATIVE
Model: CT5803
Number on the Chip: ES1373
Serial Num: A22369

Could you can find the drivers for me i would very much appreciate your help.

I carried out a little search and it would appear that this sound card is simply too old to be supported by this OS.
I would say however I did see one reference to a W95/98 driver that successfuly worked with 2003 server.
I guess the bottom line is: basic sound cards are so cheap ($10/20) I think it's time to upgrade.

Thanks for your reply and also doing the search for me.

I bought this computer in year 2000. Just to let you know that the sound card was working fine on Windows XP.

If W95/98 drivers can work then i woule not like to get a new sound card as there is really no need as it was working perfect and i am happy with the sound quality.

Can you tell me where i can get the old drivers from??

I want to get it working if possible!

MediaInfo this is a gateway soundcard. the driver (7510802.exe) is available on there website

I was searching for the same driver for same card but windows 98 (I know...) and found tons of matches. Seems strange that Creative would still have driver for that card.

Did you try selecting your card model from this page?

I think I found it on CNET.com also.

I got my drivers from Gateway's Website as suggested by dougd78465 (see above).

I think the driver would work on Windows 98 as well.

Look for 7510802.exe on Gateway's website.

win xp - creative ct4830 sound card ( soundblaster live! )

works well using win media player. . .or locks system up ;

tried kvr forum , for driver - worked super great !! several

days. . .then locked system up : restore point - saved the

day on this emachines t2984 tower ( 2 . 93 gHz / 512mb ) but

why oh why on such a nice sounding card , when it works ?
