Creating xml Menu with Scroll

So this may be more of a flash layout thing, but i figure you'd be the first to know.

Building xml menus inside an area with vertical scrolling.

When building the area for scrolling, it has it's own overflow area of course. so will the xml menu just take whatever space is needed (or enlarge the area as needed)? I have a feeling the noobish way i am doing it now will leave it looking fairly awkward. Should i throw in some AS to kinda tailor the size or is there some idiot-proof tool for doing it (lol)?
