Not and still have the machines log into the central domain. If this is a marjo issue you might try a master / resource model. Have multiple domains, maintain users only in one. This gives you some segmentation in your domain(s) but also brings up other concerns.
Yes. In the client PC specify a workgroup in the Identification tab. Also specify the domain. Technically they are still logging into the domain but they can only see the workgroup in network Nieghborhood. ake sure you use POLEDIT to disable the entire network feature
