Creating VPN Connection on Xp Home

I got two computer with Windows XP Home sharing files with no hub , switch , router between them. I want to create a VPN connection for an external computer to access this files, but I dont know how to do it with Home ed, I mean I dont know how to create the user for the VPN connection. Please help me out with the steps to follow to make sure I got it right and what am I missing.
