I have created a SYS volume during installation. During restore we ran out of disk space. How do I create a new volume in Netware 5? Is there a GUI way to create that volume? Thank you!

Keith

Hi Keith,

You can create a volume from the Netware administrator program. Check in your public\win32 directory for a file called nwadmn32.exe that will launch the GUI then select "object" from the top menu bar then "create" then select "volume"

Hope this helps, Chuck

Hi Keith,

You also can create a volume on the Serverconsole.
On the system console type nwconfig, select Standard Disk Options, select NetWare Volume Options, on the next screen press insert, select the "freespace", and so on.
The next steps are very easy and "self explaining".

Regards
Tin
