Creating Voice Menu Service Tree

I need to create a Voice Menu Tree for an existing DN/TN (2616) set. They want to be able to dial into this, hear a voice say: Please press 1 for Tom, Press 2 for Dick, Press 3 for Harry...etc and have a revert DN set so when they dial they can get a person to talk to. I read a little on setting this up in the Mermail (12), but I'm not comfortable going blindly into this...Can someone please give some advice? Thanks!

It is easy enough. You create a "Voice Menu" (below example), then link an extension to it in "Voice Service DN"

Your menu choice will be

1 CL 1234 (Tom)
2 CL 2345 (Dick)
3 CL 3456 (Harry)
4 RP (Repeat greeting)
5 RP
6 RP
7 RP
8 RP
9 RP
z RV or RP (the last two will be RV or RP)
z RV or RP

Remove the lead number from the phone and build an ACD pointed to your voice mail (lets say x1234)
In voice mail go to options 3, 4, 1 and in voice services tabl add this number as MS (menu service) going to 123400. then save it.
Exit out of the menu once then choose option 6 for voice menu definition.
In that option add 123400. below choose a revert DN an update password and fill in the options as GH states above then save.
You will need to record the greeting before it will work properly.
If you do not know your number to update the greeting go back to the voice services admin (opt 1) and look for Prompt Maintenance. Dialing this number will get you in to the menu, using the number 123400 and the password you entered.
P.S. this is the only password you need to enter when building the menu service box
Give this a go and see if it does what you want it to do.
