How do I create and what do I require to setup a postoffice or equitant for 5 ME computers, peer-to-peer networked using Office/Outlook 2k.
Last time I setup a postoffice was 3 to 4 years ago. I know the procedure but can not remember where to begin.
Also do not know if this method is still a preferred one.

However, I belive for OUTLOOK 2000 and latter version, Microsoft is not supporting for "Microsoft Mail"

First install office 97 . Do the configurations crate the post office and all. Then install 2000 or XP. Then Microsoft maill will work.

Thanks backer67
I found a copy of wms in Win98SE CD under tools\oldwin95\message\intl folder.

what is microsoft mail? is that different than other mail? Also what does a "post office" do for you? I have created a post in here and I'm going through other threads and maybe what I need to do is create a "post office" on my windows 2000 server.

I dont' know how to create a link to a post so I juss placed the post "number". It's in the Email Issues forum.

here's my post: thread605-420734
