Hi,
Have anyone tried to create plug in based application in delphi? My company is working on application that sync with outlook..I would like to create an application use can customize the way he/she want..may be like displaying form or customizing form contents. I know this doesnt have to do with plugins. But I would like to design part and how to implement it.
This is a vague quesion..I would appriciate more information on this..tutorials..sample code.

Whether or not you are using the .Net version of Delphi, it should be worth checking the links I posted in thread796-1269522.

The source code will give you a starting point if you are using .Net, but the articles, especially Balena's at ftponline should be worthwhile regardless.

Hope this helps.

Wow..Amazing thank you I appriciate your help. Please post here if you find more.

Thank you I will check it out..I could go to ftponline last night. I know tmssoftware they are coming up with plugin framework too..most important part is how you implement in your app..

could you make sample code work?I cant make it work because it cant find data base for CustomerForm_Replacement form. it wont let me change OledbConnection1 string either. I dont know lot about dot net..

I don't have a .NET version of Delphi, but I should be able to put an example together in VB.NET (although probably not before the weekend). I'll see if I can do something sooner.

shmilyca, this is taking a bit longer than anticipated - hopefully I should be able to post something later in the week. Sorry for the delay, but unfortunately work gets in the way [smile].

Its ok take your time..can you make it work using northwind.mdb instead .mdf ? I am excited about this.

Thank you.. Have A Good day.

hi...did you had chance to make it work?

Thank you..

Sorry for the delay, I just haven't had chance yet. Work is very much getting in the way of more interesting things at the moment.

My current projects should be finished within the next couple of weeks and then I should have a bit more time available. I haven't forgotten you.
