I am trying to create a parameter to view results by date and time. When I create the parameter and pull it into the report, it does not display the date and time.

What I am missing?

Well, you aren't posting your softeware version, nor what "pulling it into the report" means in technical terms.

If you place the parameter on the report canvas, it should prompt for it's value, and then display what was entered.

If you mean by it does not display that it isn't filtering rows, you need to go into the Report->Selection Formula->record and palce criteria, such as:

{table.DateTimeField} = {?MyDateTimeParameter}

I am using CR version 9, when I follow your steps listed above my formula has the following parameters:

{v_MROCorrection.RSD_Date} in Last7days

How do I modify this formula so it can allow me to select results for a specific day?

Thank you

Ok if set my parameter to pull data for a specific date, CR pulls the correct information. If I select on the Parameter field the "range Value" I do not get any results, I do not know what I am doing wrong, please help.

This is what I have in my Record Selection Formual Editor:

{v_MROCorrection.RSD_Date} = {v_MROCorrection.RSD_Date}

Thank you.

Look at the CR-9 Help files that relate to PARAMETERS and SELECT EXPERT.

You need to use the Parameter value within your Record Selection.

{v_MROCorrection.RSD_Date} = {?Parameter_Date_Field}

Note in my example it shows one field in the record selection with a question mark (?).

This means that it's a parameter.

Make sure that the record selection references the parameter against a field.
