Creating packages - please help !!

Hi All, pls forgive the question but can anyone point me in the right direction for help with creating a software package for distribution. I have no formal training and have been tasked with distributing the latest hotfixes / updates to the domain computers...

pls befor u try to distribute any sw test it in ur lap,
For create a package u can use installer which come with sms, in isolated machine ,

I would recommend that you set aside 2 or 3 systems and create a test collection based on those systems. This way, when you create the package you can target the test collection to see if you will have any problems with the installation.

Can someone tell me if this is normal, I created an msi/msm from an executable, and it works it, installs the program, but everytime i double click the file the program opens it runs thru the install again. Anyone have any ifno on this?
