Hi,

Hope someone out there can help, I'm having a problem configuring new skillsets. I selected configuration from the menu then selected the server then skillsets, added a row to the table and then saved the row. The problem is to do with the Skillset Type column is showing Local and I want it to be set to Network does anyone know what controls this please? I have also added the skillset to the Network server.

When you add a skillset to the NCC, it propogates that skillset to all the servers in it's site table. After the skillset name is propogated, the type of skillset in the local server changes from local to network.

You cannot change the type on skillset on the local site server.

If the name is not exactly the same on the NCC and the local SCCS, then you will end up with two skillsets on the local SCCS: one local, and one network.

If the local SCCS has not been added to the NCC site table, then the NCC will not be able to propogate the network skillset to the local SCCS. If the communication between the NCC and SCCS has been disrupted, then the propogation will not succeed.

Check the site table on the NCC and make sure the NCC has all sites and that they are syncronized. You can manually syncronize the sites. If that does not work, consider re-booting both the NCC and local SCCS.

Thanks for your help, the servers needed synchronising.
