I have a CS1000 at 7.5
I would like to create a new logon for a user to allow him basic administration (LD 10, 11, 20, 21, 95)

I go to LD 17
REQ chg
TYPE pwd
PSWD_COMP
FPC
LOUT
FLTH
LOCK
AUDT

ACCOUNT_REQ new (as soon as I entered new, it populated the LAPW and SBA)
PWD_TYPE LAPW
PWTP SBA
USER_NAME drew
PASSWORD
CONFIRM
LEVL
CUST all
CUST
OPT DTD
OPT

SCH6464
OPT nama (I just picked this - don't know where to find the OPT)
OPT

PWD ACCOUNT SETTINGS SAVED

ACCOUNT_REQ

Then when I logout as me, and try to login as the new user, I get OVL428.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

I don't get the option though to leave PWTP as the default - it automatically enters SBA for me as soon as I enter NEW under the Account_REQ prompt.

Ah, I see. I think you need to create the users/passwords in Element Manager. I have the same issue on one Rls 6 system I have. It defaults to SBA and the logon never works :) Maybe someone smarter will chime in.

If it's 7.5, your users should be created via your Primary UCM. Even if you created it in the Call Server, I would assume it's joined the security domain, so you wouldn't be able to use that username/password anyway.

You can create a new Role with limited access and then assign that role to the user your create within UCM.

Thanks. I don't have access to their UCM remotely so I guess I have to go on site.

Thanks.
