Creating new internal numbers?

As always you guys are a great help, I think this is probably an easy one. I have an option 11c, I am needing to free up some DID's, so I'm moving certain phones off them and would like to put them on internal #'s. I'm having a hard time figuring out where to either create, or find my internal #'s.

I've gone into ld 20, prt, ludn, and it lists a few in the 8000 range, but only a few. Can I create more of these?

My DID's are in the range of 1801-1899, and 4001-4099. How can I create more internal DN'S?

Are you networked to another switch? What's goin on with the 2000 and 3000 range? Start dong dnb's to see what your switch looks like.

All number's are already in the system, you can not add more. Post your LUDN here so we can see it.

Any number that's not in this range can be used if it appears when you do a LUDN

You would have to have 10,000 phones to use then all

2801-2899 Rollover #'s (Non DID)
4001-4099 DID's
5801-5899 Rollover #'s (Non DID)

2000-2100 Rightfax DID's
3800-3899 Rightfax DID's

I have seen about 10 non did's in the 8000 range.

1900 to 1999
2101 to 2799
2900 to 3799
3900 to 4000
4100 to 5800

My did range is 8600-8799 and 7800-7999. as you can see there are a few 86's and 87's left and alot 0f 79 amd 78

You have tons of numbers here! So when you see 81 82 83 84 85, what you have is 8100 all the way through to 8599, available. Make sense? That's 499 non DID's right there.

Look at my LUDN 68, that means I have not used from 6800 to 6899 thats 100 DN's available to use

Ok guys I tried a 7000 and it worked through the system, I haven't checked it at the office yet, but I think I'm good.....What do the #5, and **89 mean, as in...that do the # and * mean?

Those are special numbers you can use for flexible feature codes.

just that, you can use #5 as a flexable feature code.. a number like 59 means that you can either 59 or 5900 thru 5999.. 100 vacant numbers.. flexable feature codes are ld 57. prt ffc all
