Our phone system is setup to send out our main number. I need to know how to setup a new CLID table so it would send out the DID information instead of the main number.

Thanks.

It's depends on the type of signalling that you are using. Also depends on your internal numbering plan, it will be on the range assigned for your telephony company provider. They validate only these range of numeration.

If the trunk is an MFC signalling type, look at prompt CNDN in LD 15 Net_data. (print it with LD 21).

If the trunk is ISDN look at the prompt CPFXS in LD 16 (Print in LD 21 Route data block that you use for make calls)

This prompt if yes the system look in a CLID table defined by the customer. It's possible that in your system you have define it. To verify it in LD 21 print
LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE CLID
CUST

You must view something like this

Entry 0 default for MCR, SCR, etc
HNTN XXX your national code
HLCL xxx Your main code
DIDN NO Define if it use DN number to complete CLID
HLOC
LSC

To change it, in LD 15
...
CLID=yes
ENTRY = 0
HNTN
HLCL = Only your local code
DIDN=yes

You must verify that HNTN+HLCL+DN number is a valid telephone number. If your internal numbering plan do not complete a valid number, there is more job to do.

Which gate opener is CLID on? Actually, I am not changing entry 0. I would like to add entry 1 to send out DID.

Thanks.

in LD 15.

When you are prompted for the entry, just add "1" and it will create a new one. then use that one after you enter the extension.

KEY 00 SCR 1234 1<-- This is your CLID entry

The entry 0 is the default when you configure a new extension. You can change it in LD 15 NET_DATA (Sorry, i don't said it you before).

If you want to create a new entry like entry 1 you should change the configuration of each extension in the system, like said Janaya:

KEY 00 SCR 1234 1<-- This is your CLID entry

This configuration in the extension prog said to the system that replace the extension DN for the data in entry X (in your case entry 1) when you make a outgoing did call.

I recommend you write down the actual config of entry 0 and change it for the new one, it's more easy and quick.

Hi All,

I m facing a similar problem to this and would appreciate if ypu could help.

My problem is:-

i want to send my extension no. to make the complete clid number.My switch sends my main number.i removed the cndn in cdb (net_data). now my switch sends the extension number followed by all zeros. like (30010000000). i m using r2fc signaling. My route parameters say mfc yes, indmf yes and clen 1.

In my extension properties i ahve changed the key 0 to be Ket 00 scr 3001 1.

Can someone help me and tell me what i m missing. Any help is appreciated.

Regards
Panky

What you also have to check out is if your Telco is controlling your CLID. I had this, I wanted to ahve different numbers did everything correctly and finally discovered the CLID was network controlled from the telco.

Thx for replying Paul. But how i will get my first 4 digits of my extension being displayed out like (30010000000) here 3001 is my extension number. and not the complete entry.

I will check from service provider also. thx for the reply regards
