Hi to Everyone! I have a problem in creating multiple pages since the default in reports is single page. How do I create a three page report form for a single person for example a resume. I tried to create one but I cant make any additional two pages more. Is there any page break equivalent command? How do I do these? Thanks for your help...More Power to All [sig][/sig]

Good question, Wendz. It seems the core of your question is: how can you get a detail band for a single record to span more than one page? I've never done it, but I suppose you could try making the detail band higher, but it seems to have a maximum height of 20 inches, which wouldn't be enough to span three pages.

Might I suggest outputing HTML instead? While you won't get super-precise positioning (unless you use CSS), it should be fine for a resume, and you'll have more flexibility than you would have with the Report Writer. Robert,

How am i gonna adjust adjust the detail band higher? Is it by just dragging the detail? Since I tried to drag it but I have an error with it and it says I have exceeded the maximum limit.

I'd like to have your suggestion but I havent tried to output in HTML. How am I gonna do it? Since there might be problems in adjusting the detail band if I'll gonna have four pages... Thanks a lot and more power!

To adjust a band height, double click on the band and enter the appropriate value in the spinner.

In your situation, you may want to set the header to be zero, the detail to be the maximum in inches, and the footer to be zero, and thus put all the report details in the detail band.

Another suggestion would be to create more than one report and run them sequentially.

Hello Wendz!
I think you can try the EJECT PAGE command. Create function as:
function MyEject
EJECT PAGE
return '' &&return empty string to prevent printing result
endfunc

Place fields with calling of this function into report where you want report to be splitted.
