Is there any way to convert a large application to MDE format?

Access 2002 comes up with a Too Many Links error when the application is too large and there seems to be no solution to creating the MDE file.

If this is the case then can a large application in FE/BE form be further split into smaller ones but still work as one?

It could be split into more then one. Access opens up prety fast. My applicatoins with access work that way. It often ends up easier to manag with several smaller front ends & backends.

OK; but how do you integrate multiple FE and BE's into one application?

The same way that you use dll's and other components with your application, you link/reference them etc..

Do you know what linked tables are? You can link a table from one mdb to another. This allows you to create a fe and a be. There are many ways to manage linked tables, I would do some more searching of this site on how best to accomplish your objectives.
