Creating an xla file.

All,
What I’m trying to do is have and excel add-in that once the uses downloads the file to the correct location and opens up excel the addin will automatically add a button to the Formatting Control bar and attach a macro to it so that when the user clicks the button it will run code in the addin. I have done everything up to the point of creating the addin. can you give me some pointers.
