Creating an MDE

Hello,

I have created a database in which there is the back end and then 2 front end systems. I have successfully created 1 of the front end's into an MDE but when I try to create the other one into an MDE the conversion never finishes. Any ideas on what could be causing this problem?

It doesn't even get to that portion of compiling the database it just just shows that access is not responding.

Does the DB compiles properly BEFORE CREATING the MDE ?

I guess i'm a little confused on the compiling portion. But the database does open properly and function properly before trying to create the MDE.

Open any code window and from the menu choose Debug/Compile
