Hello All,
I'm not really sure what I need to do, please forgive me if I'm repeating this. I was not able to find anything in the search forum. I have created an MCR to ring on a group of 6 phones. Now, i'm being asked, when the MCR line is not picked up, instead of going to voice mail, send to a menu of options that will give the caller an option of dialing an individual extension within the group. I'm not sure if ACD is the route to go. I'm really looking for the easiest way to get this accomplish. Please advise.
Thanks in advance!
option 61c with meridian mail.

Build a dummy set as MARP for you MCR number, set it to hunt and forward to your voice mail system lead number.
In mermail option 3,4,1
add your MCR (xxxx)number as an MS going to xxxx00
exit one time and go into opt 6
choose add using xxxx00 and follow all the prompts putting in the options for what you want. you only need to add a password for "update password"
You will need to know your prompt maintenance number which you can find on the voice services option you first went into. here is where you will enter the MS box number xxxx00 and your password.
Record your greeting with the options to use (1 for operator, 2 for John Doe etc)and you should be good.

Thanks for the quick response trvlr1!!! You are awesome dude! I have been trying to figure this out for hours. Now, I'm able to setup within minutes!!! Your solution worked out great!!!

Thanks!!

If you need to send multiple numbers, MCR or otherwise, to voice mail in this way, you can build a 2616 in software with forwarding and just add the DN's on the keys with MARP and that way you dont have to build a separate phone for each one., remember you can even add 2 add on modules for more numbers.

that was a great answer.. complete and to the point... have a friday star
