In Corel Draw X3, is it possible to manipulate a rectangular flag into a shape resembling a waving flag. I can get this to work in my paint programme but not in Corel Draw. The mesh fill just blurrs all the colours together. If I use the node tool it is difficult to get all the internal lines in the flag to look uniformly wavy. I could paint then trace it but would prefer to work in Corel for accuracy and reduced nodes.
The final output is going to a vinyl cutter.
TIA

Don't know if this is any use, but worth a try.

Goto Effects>envelope> in dialog box, click add preset, fourth row down in the centre, click on this. and manipulate as you wish.

Thanks Bern,
That worked better than anything else I have tried. It got a bit confused with the combined internal shapes contained in the rectangle. With sufficient distortion of the envelope some of the internal shapes moved partially outside the rectangle.
However, I have another similar project where the method you suggested worked a treat.
Your assistance is appreciated.
