Creating a User 1

In windows 2000 Active directory when you create a user do you also have the option to create a email box if you have a windows 2003 Exchange server?

if you add the user in ad via the exchanged server you will have the option of creating a mailbox.. but not on the DC

Is it possible for me to upgrade the active directory on the Domain controller to do this?

Well if you have exchange, you already upgraded active directory. You just need to install the exchange users and computers mmc snapin.
