I am using a form to enter values in a one field table. What I then want to do is create a table whereby all of the row values now represent a field in a new table.

For example; in a form you enter the following values into a one field table 1,2,3,4,5 I now have 5 rows in one field. I now want Access to automatically create a new table that will have 5 fields titled 1,2,3,4,5.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

why not use the query append table or make table query?

Thanks;

I was going to use the make table query, however in the query how do I specify that the values in the rows of one field are to be used as the titles of the fields in the newly created table?

Thanks.

euhm.... dunno.
My access knowledge is not so deep to respond to you.

feel free to send your database. maybe I can better understand when I see it working.

how do I give you my email address?

I think that I will be able to better accomplish this with a cross-tab query.

Thanks.
