Creating a report to run Quaterly.

I need to create a report that would run quarterly. The report would run as follows
For cases that were created between October 1 to December 31st first the report will run Jan 1
For cases that were created between Jan 1 and March 31st the report will run April 1st
For cases that were created between April 1st and June 30th, the report will run July 1st
For cases that were created between July 1st and September 30th will run on October 1st

I need assistance with the right formula to use to ensure that the correct data is showing in the right quarter in my selection criteria. Can I use the Calender1stQtr,Calender2ndQtr functions?

Where does Crystal pull the data from? Access? Crystal Enterprise? SQl server?
