Greetings all.
I am trying to create a movie database to catalog all the movies we have in our collection. It seems simple enough, since all I need is the title of the movie, the reference number of the tape we recorded it on, and a position number indicating where the movie is on the tape.
The complication comes in when I want to add a picture of the movie's VHS/DVD cover, and use all the fields above to make a pictorial catalog I can print out for easier reference.
I tried added an OLE Object field in my master table, and then created a report using the wizard. However, the picture doesn't appear at all. The report only displays the Windows icon indicating that its a picture, but not the picture itself.
Can Access 2000 do what I want it to do? Or will I have to explore another avenue to develop this??
Thanks in advance for any input you may have.
Happy programming.
Richard
