I have begun to create a database (there isn't any data in it yet). I want to create a form to use to enter data into multiple tables. I just created a query which selects the fields I want to use. When I went to Form wizard and chose the query that I want the Form to be based on. However, when I go to design view, there's nothing there. Not even the labels. What's going on? Thanks in advance for the help.

You'll get yourself into all sorts of trouble if the query doesn't contain the keys for the tables you want to update. Also, if the tables are related in anyway there will be even more problems.
Try one step at a time. Create a form for one table and see how that goes. You can build up from there.
Hope this helps. Raymondo

Have you created your table structures before you built your query? Robert Berman

Well, I decided to create a form with a subform. I used dummy data to test it, so it's working fine. However, the people I created it for doesn't like the design I chose (I picked one from the form wizard). How do you change the background designs once you created a form. Please let me know.

Afternoon GeneralUser!

Try the following simple tasks..

Try clicking on each part of the form:
Section: FormHeader
Section: Detail
Section: FormFooter, etc in Design View and then select properties like BackColor, SpecialEffect and so on, to change your design.

Try these for a start. Hope this helps.

Best wishes

It's not working. I orignally chose one of Acess 2000's built-in styles. I want to switch it to another one. Is it possible? Please let me know.

Hi GeneralUser

See if the following helps..

Click on the grey section of your form, to obtain the form Properties.

Then in Picture, delete the following file reference, (for example):

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Bitmaps\Styles\globe.wmf

Best wishes
