Hello,

I am currently trying to create a cell with a 30 character max. I am then saving the spreadsheet to a text file. This field in the text file needs to be 30 characters long no matter if I type in 10 characters or 25.

Thanks,
Belstoy

What would you like your filler to be?

[Blue]Blue[/Blue] [Dragon]

If I wasn't Blue, I would just be a Dragon...

I need to go for the evening, but if it is a text filler, you can in another column use =REPT("X",30-len(A1))&A1

For over 30 chars, you can use a validation rule.

[Blue]Blue[/Blue] [Dragon]

If I wasn't Blue, I would just be a Dragon...

Thanks. I would like the filler after the entered text to be spaces.

Then use

=A1&REPT(" ",30-len(A1))

[Blue]Blue[/Blue] [Dragon]

If I wasn't Blue, I would just be a Dragon...

Thanks Bluedragon2. I appreciate the help.
