I have an access database filled with yes/no fields and a matching description field. I want the report to display the description field if the matching yes/no field is yes. There are about 20 or so of these "groups". I also do not want blank areas on the report where the omitted fields would be. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

How about providing some sample data and desired output/display in your report? Your table sounds quite un-normalized but I can't tell.

output would be:

Collwood Pines

Parking Enforcement:
Description of how to enfore parking

Handicap Parking:
Description of Handicap spaces

Database:
Fields:
id,property,parking, parking_desc, handicap, handicap_desc

1,Collwood Pines, yes, "Description of how to enforce parking",yes,"Description of Handicap spaces"

Hope that helps.

use search; key word(s) [CreateReport | CreateForm | CreateControl | .Top | .Left | .Height | .Width |.Caption] be somewhat creative and at least attempt to look up the first few of these via Mr. Ubiquitous (aka {F1}).

I'm a bit retentive when it comes to normalization so I would not do any additional development in the mdb until it was normalized. "blank areas on the report where the omitted fields" go away with properly normalized tables.
