Hello,
I was hoping someone could help me with some questions I have with developing a simple way to create a daily call in schedule for our drivers. Drivers are called in by seniority, the configuration of the truck they drive all based on the specific orders of the day.

I have created tables for the drivers (included their availability, start time preference), tables for the trucks and have related the trucks with the drivers. Then I have created a table with a schedule which states the start time, the truck configuration at that start time. Where I am getting stuck is when I create a query to have a driver specified to a specific start time, the driver is scheduled again on the next start time and then the next and so on. This happens to each driver on each start time.

I hope this is clear enough to picture.

If it would help to post the file as an example, please let me know.

Thank you for any help.

- Eric

It sounds to me like your query has the 'driver' table and the 'schedule' table but there is no 'join' between the two. If you filter on driver, but don't select / restrict the schedule, without the join you will get that driver and every row in the schedule.
