Hi Guys,

How can I create a desktop Icon for my Access Application?

Thanks in Advance

If you mean a shortcut that opens the application, connected to the correct workgroup file with user name and password switches:

The format is:

<Access executable path> <Database path> /WrkGrp <MDW file path> /User <UserName> /Pwd <Password>.

For example:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\MSACCESS.EXE" "D:\TestDB\Test.mdb" /wrkgrp "D:\TestDB\Secure.mdw" /User Ed /Pwd MyPass

If you have spaces in your filepaths the quotes are necessary, otherwise they can be left out.

If you mean how to create a 'special' icon for you access database. There are a lot of programs around to create icons with. If you found/created the appropriate icon, right click on the standard access database icon of your application, choose properties, change icon, browse...

and that is it.
