Hello,
I am trying to analyze data stored in a tab delimited text files. I would like this data to be imported into a datagrid to be manipulated by a user. I was thinking of setting up the text files as an ODBC Data Source but am having dificulty creating a connection. Does anyone have some examples of connecting to a text file?

You can get at text in the same way you can an access or SQL Server Database - there is a Microsoft Text Driver that can be utilised as part of a DSN.

You can assign the DSN a name

You can define field formats

You can then utilise this in a vb project

TomKane,
I have created DSN using the Microsoft Text Driver, but when I try to add a data adaptor to my project that uses the DSN I recieve an error stating "The Connector you have created does not work with the current adaptor."
Any suggestions on why I am getting this error?
