I would like to know if there is a open source code in VBA for creating a zip file.

I've heard of C++ open source for zip file creation, but not VBA. ( search for 7z if you're interested ) If you have a command line compression utility ( like PKZip ), you could issue a command from VBA, or even ( and this is what I did a long time ago ) write a text file of the batch commands required to a .BAT file and run that from VBA.

The one I mentioned ( PKZip ) is one of the best ones around!

, as PKWare ( the makers of PKZip ) invented the ZIP file format ( the same one that WinZip uses ).
