Hello,

I tried searching the faq for this but couldn't find any answers.

I have a bunch of linked forms in my database with buttons to close and open each one. I'd like to be able for the end user to just open the forms, do the data entry, then exit without opening MS Access itself. Obviously, this is to prevent the overzealous user from making coding changes.

Thank you.

You can create an MDE file which protects your various designs (forms, report, modules) from being altered. There are other measures you could take such as creating a run-time or implementing user level security which depends on your version of Access.

Thank you, MDE sounds like the way to go for me.
