create pdf file with acucobol

Is possible create pdf file directly from a cobol program?
I'd like convert some ascii reports into PDF file direcly from my cobol program, any suggestiont?

I use OS windows (me/2000/xp) and the version of ACUCOBOL is 4.3 I need this just for windows one.

sorry. is the ACUCOBOL version you are using a Windows Version or a MS-DOS version?

Acucobol 4.3 version run is a semi-graphical version and run under windows. Is possibile compile the program in the prompt of ms-dos or with the acubench and is also possible add graphical screen.

My advise is first to use a standard printer driver that writes PDF files. Plenty of those available, and some of them free.

Hmm, are you sure? Better to write your data in XML format (easy in cobol) and then use XSL-FO to create a PDF.
