Create list from excel - problem

I have an excel list made in Excel2007, and try to create a list from that file, but sharepoint wont accpet the file, what am i doing wrong? I have saved the file as .xlsx

Hello,

Are you running SPS2003 (WSS V2)? It might be so that it is not compatible with that version of SharePoint. What happens if you save the your Excel file as XLS (Excel 97-2003) version? Does it work then?
