Hi
I have an online portfolio, and I currently use photoshop actions to generate all the images for the site from my digital photos. One action resizes, contraining to 450x450 and adds a border. Two more actions create thumbnails, one color and one black and white. At the moment I have to run the action individually on each photo. The online gallery contains 20 images on each page, so what I'd like to do is to be able to run an action once and have it process 20 images at a time, saving each of these three images with consecutive numbers 01-20 (60 images total). My current action will save all the images with them same name, so if I try to run it on 20 images, it will overwrite each one, and I'll only have the last image remaining.

Is there a way for me to create more complex actions like photoshop's Web Gallery or Contact Sheet?

Put all the pictures that you want in your gallery into one folder then to have photoshop do everything by selecting File>Automate>Web Gallery in photoshop 7 or in CS you can find these same commands in the file brower, this will open up a box where you can play around with borders, color options and layout style you can from here you can select the thumbnail size and the large image size you can also put in titles picture info and contct info

make sure you choose the file that you placed your pictures in as the source and an empty folder somewhere as the destination

then when you click ok then photoshop will create all the thumbnails and large photos as well as the html files you need it will save everything as it own file like your wanting (this is why you put it in an empty folder)

if you need to know more details about anything in this web gallery function just post a reply and I'll try to help you out.

Thanks, RallyPC. I am familiar with the web gallery. That's not what I want to do, though.
