create barcode label wia WEB

I am looking a process that can generate barcode label on-line ( via Web). Currently we have an program using ASP mainly and it allows user to downlaod the data in excel format to user's station, then calling a local batch file to print the label throgh the ACCESS. However for security reason, we can not do this in IE 6 anymore. Wondering is there other program can do the same thing (ex PDF.)? usually there are many user online and they want to print their own labels ( around 5000 at one time).

If it is a code39 barcode, you can easily do this. Make sure the users download the font. Once they have the font installed, you can just use an html font command. Remember to put the * before and after the code.
