I have a lot of standard forms I use (security, reports etc) in all my databases, instead of having to import them in everytime I create a new database, I would like to create a template database which has this all there already, does anyone know if this possible in access 2k.

Thanks,

Gavin,

I am not aware of a template capability for Ms. A. however there are several (actually NUMEROUS) threads re maintenance of database objects in multiuser situations which would do the task -albeit frim a slightly different perspective. Use "advanced" search. Key word(s) [FE | BE | Update | Maintain | MSysObjects | ... ] you shoud retrieve several references which provide some discussion and some code samples which are appropiate.

Hi,
I don't know if this is helpful or not, but I wrote an FAQ on how to programmatically create a new database. See faq705-2714
