Hello..

I have a program that pools all the working table data into one dbf and saves it with a .NSE extension. I would like to associate that extension with my program so the user could just double-click on the file and open my program (which would automatically open that file and split the data back into the working tables).

Is there an API call or some VFP(6.0) function which will create that file association?

Thanks -- michael~

Have you though of renaming the file as the application opens? And changing back as it closes?

Mike -- I don't understand... renaming it from what to what?

In my prog I have a set of working data tables which get populated from the saved data table. I want to set the saved data table apart from the working tables -- I don't want the saved data table to have a .dbf extension, in case the user gets it confused with one of the working data tables. Plus, I want to associate a different icon with the saved data table.

AHA!! I Knew that article was out there somewhere, but I couldn't, for the life of me, find it in any searches!

Thank you Carl!
