Hi everyone

As I am a newbie, my first question might sound really silly, anyway here it goes.

I aa a sales consultant for a construction company. Now when clients come and ask for a price on one of our house designs, I try to do up a PTE (Pre Tender Estimate), so for example a clothes line costs around $225, but for example if they want render, which is a cement based coating to the brick wall or tiles or carpet, then I have to guess the price.

Now I can get the dimensions of the walls, floor areas etc and the $ per sqm for doing the work.

How difficult is it to create a database that for example you put in the name of the house design and the floor area, internal and external wall area comes up with the $ per sqm price and a total.

Hope this all makes sense!

Cheers

Hans
