Hi All,

Not finding what could be the cause of this. But I have a few routers and switches that keep giving me CRC & Input errors. Both figure increment at the same time.

eg:
0 collisions, 0 late collision, Days: 20:32:19
101 CRC errors, 101 input errors, 0 output errors,

0 collisions, 0 late collision, Days: 20:32:24
1232 CRC errors, 1232 input errors, 0 output errors,

All set on full-duplex and correct speeds.

Anyone seen anything similar and know what the fix is?

You say full duplex? the links might not be able to handle full duplex reliably. Knock it down to half duplex, clear the counters and see what happens. Duplexing errors normally show as input/CRC errors. As does cabling errors. A sniffer would be a great use here.

Will give the half-duplex a bash, but then my collision counters will probably increase.

Thanks will try and advise.

I found the same problem with a 2600. i found the problem was caused by SQL Slammer. You might wanna check that out...

Don't think SQL slammer is to blame. It's been going on like this for half a year or more now, and staying constant. I'm only now trying to find a solution to it. Also its a private net so outside <internet> influence is unlikley.

Good tip though if it had suddenly started for no reason.. woulda missed that one ;-)
