hi, guess this has been asked hundreds of times before, but i gotta ask now with a print deadline hanging over me.

I'm using quark 4.1 on a G4 running OS9x. Got a 24 page doc for a magazine and it just keeps crahing. Have given it a whoppin' 100mb RAM.

What are the common resons for crashes (it just freezes the whole Mac) and what is the remedy.

Anyone help please?!

At what point does it crash? immediately on open... at print?...

Many crashes occur at print because of a corrupt placed graphic. Try printing one page of the document at a time to find the bad page. Once you identify the bad page, gradually remove each graphic and print a test page to find the corrupt file.

Thanks chaps. It crashes when it's redrawing usually. Not always, but the quark article was quite helpful. i shall try a few of those tips

Many thanks.
