Crackle on voicemails

Hello there all,

I have a problem on an IP500 system where the voicemails are crackling/distorting. Using the voicemail to email facility the customer has sent me quite a few examples. The messages are clear as day until about 1-2 seconds then distort/crackle for the rest of the message. You can hear a click and then the distortion.

This is an intermittant fault as I have been to site an bombarded voicemails and not had the fault once...

It is coming from multiple users to multiple mail boxes.

I am told that the VCM card has been changed already.

Any help would be much appriciated.
 
If it is the ipo then vmpro will not solve it.
But vmpro is great and you will love it.
It is worth the money big time.

Just an update on this as the customer is still having this problem.

They have the latest firmware for thier build. 5.0 (26)

I have swapped the IP500 and VCM32 expansion module.

The voicemails are actually on internal calls. ie reception calls a user to tell them someone called and this message is distorted.

They are also saying that they get echoing on calls.

They are using 1616 handsets with PC's connected to them also.

You must reboot before this will do something!!!
