Cracking sound during Conference

Hei all

I have a system BC11 SP11, Market - ST.

When I initiate a conference call between combination of internal extensions and external trunks, I am getting a cracking sound/noise during the con call.

I tried working out the LSATI parameters but no change.

Any suggestions !!!

If the external trunks is digital it sounds like
a sync problem (or bad sync).
Make sure the SCEXI is set correctly and check
with SCEXP that MD is sync receiving from PSTN station.

I don't have any digital trunks here. They are doing the conference on analogue trunks. Surprisingly this sound is also heard while doing a 3-4 party internal conference.

Must be some bad boards DSU maybe , try the TMU
in another magazine(gives it new path to LSU)
Select the conf members pr.magazine if you can.

If you have VMU (SPU2 with HDU7) take it out .
I experienced disturbance with it .

Other than that , crosstalk/interference from the mdf pairs

Sorry things like this is hell to find out .
All sources has to be eliminated somehow.

very surprising observation i am getting here for this problem...

the cracking sound even comes during internal conference call and it usually starts from the conference leader.

i am even getting the same in my reference. i have tried it with BC12 SP1/BC11 SP12/BC10. I tried in a customer with BC11 SP10 but there it was OK.

Any of you guys having this type of problem. If not just try with 3 digital sets in a internal conference.

There is a series of the dialog 3xxx series
with a production fault that gives noise bursts .
Are you sure that it is not that issue .
Patch was written for BC10&BC11 to bypass the fault in the dts that was effected with this fault.
