CR9 view over web

HI,

In CR9, what are the options to view a report over the web?
In CR8 we could use: WCS and ASP. In CR8.5: Enterprise and ASP.

What about version 9?

By the way, does CEnterprise come with CR9? If not I don´t see the point why Crystal put it only in version 8.5.

I think CR was a little out of touch with the 9.0 release. We returned our 9.0 pro version because there is no upgrade path from 8.5 if you were using Crystal Enterprise and unmanaged reports. The only way to display the reports over the web in 9.0 is to create an .asp front end. We were just running plain .rpt files in 8.5 and that worked perfectly. However, that functionality is not there in the 9.0 pro release due to the absence of Crystal Enterprise. Since Cyrstal Enterprise 8.5 cannot coexist with 9.0 reports (because of Unicode) there is no development window in which to update 8.5 reports. They are planning to release a 9.0 Enterprise but that will add another $1000 to the cost.
If I was a cynic (or perhaps a realist) I would say that they hooked us with the free 8.5 Enterprise only to jack the price up by $1000 for the 9.0 release.
