I am using CR8 with an Access DB (ODBC connection). My access db does not have a password. I have created a rpt in CR and it works perfect. When I run the same report from the web (using the web comp. srv.) it always asks for a db user id and password. Any advice or tips? Any help would be greatly appreciated. [sig][/sig]

My experience is that Crystal will ask for a password whenever it can't open the database. This might be becuase of permissions issues or corruption or a host of other reasons. In your case I would see if the web client has access to the folder containing the database. [sig]
Ken Hamady- href= Reports Training by Ken Hamady
[/sig]

Try using the UserID of admin and a blank password, this will probably sort out you problem, this assumes that you designed the report using the odbc driver that you are trying to refer to.

If you designed the report using access drivers and are trying to open it with an odbc connection it will never work.
