CR2008 SERVER EMAIL REOPORT IN PDF

Hello

When scheduling a pdf extract to an email address I am trying to add an extension to the report.

Use Specific Name eg %SI_STARTTIME%
it does not work - the export works but does not come out as pdf. If I ignore the add on extensions then it works.
Any Ideas
