CR XI: snapping to objects 1

Is there a way to stop guidelines from snapping to lines or other objects already in the report? Something like holidng down the space bar, or maybe a setting? I can't draw a second guideline within almost a 1/4 in of a feature I already have drawn... Thanks!

In Crystal 10, File > Options gives you a set of choices, including 'snap to grid', which can be switched off or on.

Snap to Grid is an option in 11 as well, but I need to turn off snapping to features like lines, boxes, text, reports fields.

It seems to snap to vertical features, but not horizontal features...

Try making your grid size .011

Well, I think that will be an acceptable work-around. I'm hoping to turn all snapping of any kind off, but if I snap to the grid I can probably get things close enough. Thanks for the suggestion,
