CR with MYOB & ODBC

Has anyone ever used this combination? I've noticed that if you join any tables from within MYOB's database, the queries take an exceptionally long amount of time.

Any reason for this? I've taken to limiting my reporting to things I can export from MYOB into excel/csv. Then running the report against that (which isn't a great solution at all, but 4 hour queries for cross tab reports with 2 tables is insane).

BTW, for those who are unaware, MYOB is an accounting package similar to Quickbooks, Peachtree, etc.
