CR through VisualBasic apps

I've done a fair bit of report development in both CR and Info (v7 both), but now want to look into attaching reports to VB applications.
Can anyone suggest a good starting point (url) to read up on how to set up running CR reports via a VB app??? eg passing parameters over the report, that kind of thing

The Seagate web site has some really good examples of VB apps. The names are somewhat cryptic, but they have reasonable explanations. You will need to decide several things right off the bat. How are you going to connect to your data? How are you going to handle security on the database? Will you be sending recordsets to crystal at runtime? These things will impact your basic approach and design more than you think.
