CR run-time error '20535'

I have a VB6 application running on Windows 2000 that uses CR8.5.

The application itself runs ok. But on 2 client machines when it comes to running a CR report, I get the following error:

Run-time error '20535'
Error in file "my cr filename".rpt
Unable to connect:incorrect session parameters.

The problem is that it runs perfectly ok on 2 different pcs !

It seems that maybe some CR installtion files are missing, but I don't know which ones !

Can anybody help ?

You may have already checked this, but could it be a problem with the selected .dll files in VB6? (Tools/References) I'm only basing this suggestion on the headaches I've experienced with VBA/Access 2000 regarding having the correct libraries selected and in the correct order of precedence.
